Amazing Design of San Francisco Museum of Modern Art






Developed by Snøhetta Oslo / New York-based collaboration withSFMOMA EHDD and from San Francisco, to expand its 225,000square feet will run along adjacent to the rear of the existing building, extending from Howard to the streets of Mina, and toallow the merger of two of structure. This new building will providelarger files with SFMOMA Assembly, and openness that will welcome visitors and the role of the museum project as a catalystfor new ideas, and learning center, a place that offers significant technical experience of the San Francisco Bay Area residents andvisitors .

On the east side of it, will be built and has a comprehensiveinterface and the entrance in an area that is currently hidden fromthe public and largely untapped. This will be achieved throughestablishment of mid-block, open air pedestrian 0.18 meters widthextends from the Corniche road to Howard during Natoma street,which will open new avenues for general circulation through theneighborhood and bring Natoma Street, currently deadlocked, tolive. And the park features a series of stairs and landing up toaccess the courts, which stretches from the new eastern entrance,and the provision of additional public spaces.
